About us

What we do

The role of the MEDIA offices in the UK is to help UK filmmakers and other audiovisual industry professionals understand and apply to the MEDIA Programme’s funding schemes, and to promote the programme in the UK.

The UK is one of 32 European participating countries of the MEDIA Programme, each of which has a central information and promotion office, called a Desk, usually based in the capital city. Some of the larger participating countries, including the UK, also have one or more regional offices known as Antennae. Where we are

The UK has three information offices which give advice on the MEDIA Programme. MEDIA Desk UK is based in London, MEDIA Antenna Scotland is in Glasgow and MEDIA Antenna Wales is in Cardiff.
