The MEDIA Programme offers many different funding schemes, each targeting different areas of the audiovisual sector. We have schemes for producers, distributors, sales agents, organisers of training courses, operators in new digital technologies, operators of VoD platforms, exhibitors and organisers of festivals, markets and promotional events.

Preparatory action: Circulation of films in the digital era offers up to €2 million towards projects that investigate innovative strategies for the wide dissemination of European films.

MEDIA Production Guarantee Fund

The €8 million MEDIA Production Guarantee Fund is a loan guarantee fund aimed at making it easier for film producers to gain access to bank financing. The guarantee can be used for discounting contracts and cashflowing projects.
