Creative Europe Funding

From 2014, European culture, cinema, television, music, literature, performing arts, heritage and related areas will benefit from increased support under the European Commission's new Creative Europe programme

The new programme includes a Culture Sub-Programme, supporting performing and visual arts, heritage and other areas, and a MEDIA Sub-Programme, which will provide funding for the cinema and audivisual sector.

Participant Portal

One major change in the new programme will be the move to a paperless application and reporting process. To apply for a grant you will first have to register your company or organisation through the Participant Portal and receive a Participant Identification Code (PIC). You only need to do this once and prospective applicants can now register using the following steps:

1. Sign up for an ECAS account. You will then be sent a verification email, click on the link to create your password.

2. You will then be redirected to the Participant Portal where you will be prompted to enter specific details about your company or organisation.

In this section you'll find details of the four schemes available through Creative Europe's Culture Sub-Programme.
In this section you'll find information on a number of other EU funding oppourtunities that could benefit professionals working in the audiovisual sector.
