The Doc Outlook - International Market calls for creative feature-length documentaries

The Doc Outlook - International Market has opened its call for creative feature-length documentaries for its 2012 edition.

18 projects will be presented to potential co-producers, commissioners, financiers and distributors at the co-production market. The Call is open to new or recent projects intended for theatrical release which have potential for international co-production.

The Doc Outlook is held in conjunction with the International Festival of Nyon. Vision du Reel is a meeting point for professionals working in documentaries of many different genres: art, culture, entertainment, politics, history, science, ecology, human interest, wildlife, sport and youth.

In addition to the co-production market there are the following events;

The Media Library: where over 300 films are screened to exhibitors, buyers, festival programmers and sales agents
Doc Think Tank and Docs in Progress: presentations of nearly finished films to distributors and festival programmers with panels on marketing strategies and co-production partnerships.

The deadline for submission of entries is 20 January 2012.
