The East European Forum is Central and Eastern Europe's premier market and co-production forum for documentary film, taking place annually at the prestigious Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. Attended by more than 120 documentary professionals from around the world, the Forum annually joins 14 creative documentary projects developed through the MEDIA training programme Ex Oriente Film and another 10 projects selected directly for the Forum. In 2008, some 40 documentary films were made with the support of the Forum.
