Dedicated to young filmmakers, the festival aims to promote cultural diversity and to strengthen the role of Central Europe in cultural life. The competition is composed of four main categories (Features, shorts and experimental films, documentaries and animation).

Other events include retrospectives, roundtable discussions, lectures, workshops and concerts.
