MECAL, the international Short Film Festival of Barcelona, shows short films from over 30 countries during the 10 day event, aiming to screen 260 films to an audience of approximately 15,000.

Eligible films should be of a maximum running time of 30 minutes and have been completed after 1st January 2008. There is no registartion fee for films.
