Independent European producers can now pre-register on-line to participate in the MEDIA European Pavilion at the forthcoming Cannes Film Market.

Registration is possible at www.marketplace-events.com

The MEDIA Pavilion offers 400 square metres of space and a beach front terrace and will host up to 200 selected professionals from those who pre-register to participate.

There are two ways of participating:
1. Membership of the Pavilion - €286 per person
A single fee will give participants a cannes market badge, offering access to the Pavilion's services, the film market screenings and the festival itself. Membership of the pavilion offers reception service, message service, dvd and vhs viewing facilities, internet access and bar facilities.

2. Pavilion Membership and Producer's Network - €317 per person
Offering access to all of the above in addition to accessing the daily breakfast meetings of the Cannes Film Market's Producers' Network hosted by a team of international moderators, listings in a Producers' Network catalogue, a unique networking section on the Film Market's website and legal advice. In order to be eligible for the Producers' Network your main activity must be production and you must have produced at least one theatrically released feature film in the last three years.

The deadline for pre-registration is 3 April 2009.
