Deadline extension for the EAVE 2010 European Producer Workshop

15 October 2009 is the new deadline to apply to participate in the EAVE Producer Workshops which take place in three seven-day workshops across Europe
EAVE, The European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe and is renowned for the European Producer Workshop which is aimed at producers of both fiction and documentary already working in the film and television industry and who are looking to operate on a European wide basis.
The course aims to increase participant's knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and on building a pan-European professional network. Each year approximately 50 participants are selected, half attending with projects which are developed and focused on by colleagues and experts. The workshops are complemented by plenary sessions, case studies and individual meetings as well as exercises in pitching and negotiating skills. In the final week 40-50 key decision-makers join the participants to discuss the projects, companies and careers of participants, a process which offers unusual access to Europe's decision-makers.
The 2010 workshops will be held as follows:
March 2010 - Luxembourg
June 2010 - Seville, Spain
October/November 2010 - Belgrade, Serbia
Participants are invited to attend with or without a project and projects are welcomed from all genres and forms. Fiction projects should be at least at well developed treatment or first draft script stage and documentaries should be in the form of a coherent outline/treatment. The producer must have the right to develop and produce the project.
