The European Commission's Directorate General for Enlargement has launched a Call for Proposals, PRINCE 2009 EU27, to fund projects that will raise awareness of topics relating to EU enlargement. The proposed projects should involve either the production and dissemination of audiovisual programmes or the organisation of awareness-raising events leading to debates and communication activities on the topic.  Projects should:

• increase public understanding for the EU enlargement process by stimulating an informed public debate about the current EU enlargement agenda
• familiarise people in EU Member States with the contemporary reality of candidate countries and potential candidates in South East Europe (SEE).

The deadline for applications is 30 November 2009.
