Applications open for international documentary training course

Applications have opened for Crossing Borders, the new Europe and Asia Pacific-based training course. The course is a joint initiative, arranged by Documentary Campus and the European Documentary Network (EDN), and funded by MEDIA International.
Crossing Borders is a three-part training programme where knowledge and networks are shared. The first part of the programme will take place in June 2010 with a project development workshop in Shanghai, China. The second part will consist of a workshop to further develop the participating projects and observe the Final Pitching Session of the Documentary Campus Masterschool in Leipzig, Germany, in October 2010. Finally, all participants will pitch their documentary projects at GZDOC Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival in China, in December 2010.
The organisers are looking for documentary professionals (authors, directors, producers) coming from Australia, China, Europe, Singapore and Korea who have experience in their domestic market but who are seeking to work in the international field and make documentaries for a global audience.
The language of the workshop is English.
The deadline for applications is 1 March 2010.
