CIDINET, the new online European distribution database, will be launched by Europa Distribution during the Berlin International Film Festival next week.

CIDINET will offer an essential new service to the European distribution industry, informing distributors about the methods of film distribution in other European countries and opening the channels of communication between distributors, sales agents and the CIDINET team. 

The site will include distribution data from all European territories and cover all aspects of the distribution process, including marketing costs, print numbers, box office figures and release strategies and will be available to all Europa Distribution members and subscribers. 

The concept is based on a collaborative and participatory approach from its users, and will be closely monitored by Europa Distribution and updated and expanded on a daily basis to ensure its value as a business tool for European distributors.

Europa Distribution serves as the voice of the European independent film distributor and has a membership of 80 leading independent distributors from 22 countries.
