Online application documents are now available to submit new animation projects to Cartoon Forum 2010, which this year takes place in Sopron, Hungary from 14-17 September 2010. 

Cartoon Forum prides itself on showcasing European works which clearly illustrate the quality of animation within the European Union, whilst providing a platform for the European animation industry to consolidate cross-border co-operation, partnerships and commercial links; blending hard work with relaxing activities such as wine-tasting.

Every year over 250 potential investors, including over 100 broadcasters, attend the prestigious event for a sneak preview of the latest animation projects from 31 different countries.  Since the first edition of Cartoon Forum in 1990, over 430 projects with a total budget in excess of €1.5 billion have secured financing and are now in production or being broadcast worldwide.

Cartoon Forum welcomes projects from European producers from countries participating in the MEDIA Programme.

The application deadline is 28 April 2010.
