Places available on MEDIA Stand at Cannes

MEDIA-stands.eu is receiving applications for places at the Marché du Film MEDIA Stand.
The Marché du Film is a key networking event for film professionals from all over the world, and welcomes over 10,000 participants seeking collaboration and partnerships in production. It takes place from 12-21 May, as part of the Cannes International Film Festival (12-23 May 2010).
The MEDIA Stand will be housed in a large pavilion with a beach terrace, and will host European audiovisual professionals who will be able to take advantage of the many support services and networking opportunities including:
- Messaging service
- Communal screening and working areas with PCs and LCD screens
- Wi-Fi internet access
- Free private bar (offering breakfast, hot beverages and soft drinks throughout the day and wine during the evenings).
Places on the MEDIA Stand cost €286 per person. This price includes a market badge with access to the pavilion, Marché du Film screenings and the Cannes International Film Festival. (This is therefore the only required registration fee.)
Producers Network
For €317, MEDIA-Stands.eu offers MEDIA Stand accreditation (as above), in addition to membership of the Producers Network, which is reserved for producers who have produced at least one theatrically-released feature film within the last three years. The participant must show a credit as a producer, co-producer or executive producer. Applicants who meet these criteria will enjoy access to daily roundtable meetings of some 200 producers and top decision-makers, 'speed dating' sessions designed to help producers find potential partners, and daily 'happy hours' which provide a casual forum for networking.
The deadline for registration is 3 April 2010 and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
