Multi Platform Business School (MPBS) is a five-day project-based workshop designed to give producers of audiovisual content a creative environment in which they can develop their multi platform project and address the distribution of linear and interactive formats in their respective markets.
With the development of digital technology, the media sectors are converging. Producers of film, television, game, mobile and other media are under increasing pressure to develop content that can be released internationally and travel a multitude of platforms. This programme will give them:
- tools to analyse behaviour, define user profiles and engage different users
- creativity to think, innovate and design multi platform content
- overview of linear and interactive formats through their current and potential markets
- approaches and exercises on how to encourage user generated content and activity
- insight into different production methodologies
- skills to supervise a team through the process.
SESSIONS AND DATES
The workshop will take place from 4 - 8 August, 2009 in Ronda (Malaga), Spain.
PROJECTS AND PARTICIPANTS
MPBS addresses producers, designers and directors of audio-visual content for exploitation on a diversity of media platforms: TV, web, PC, game consoles and mobile devices. They apply with their project and are invited to bring members of the team to the course.
22 participants bringing 6 to 8 projects.
PARTICIPANTS FEE
∈1000 including subsistence costs and shuttle service between airports and Ronda.
