ACE offers continuous training for advanced producers who have already produced at least one feature film. Participants need to have an internationally-targeted feature film project in development.
ACE helps independent film producers to:
- improve their development and management skills;
- increase their knowledge of the international marketplace, its key industry players and of new technologies;
- widen the financing, distribution and business opportunities for their projects and companies.
ACE comprises yearly individual monitoring on feature development. In addition to this training activity (known as ACE 19), ACE organizes an Annual Reunion of the ACE Network every spring, giving ACE members the chance to experience international film festivals through ACE events and professional meetings. Seminars on co-production, new technologies and managerial skills are also organized throughout the year.
SESSIONS AND DATES
From November 2009 to December 2010 (14 months). Main workshops in November and December 2009 in Germany and France. One other workshop and five seminars in key European cities. Networking activities mostly at key international festivals and markets.
PROJECTS AND PARTICIPANTS
Up to 16 new participants every year, with them automatically joining the existing ACE Network of Producers (more than 130 members).
PARTICIPANTS FEE
∈5,500 for the initial training year (which lasts exactly 14 months) including accommodation and subsistence at workshops. ∈700 annual membership fee to stay in the ACE Network after the first year.
