PRIMEPACKAGING provides comprehensive support and consulting in various fields: script development, market research, financing, distribution, world sales and games/interactive media. The main idea is to introduce the expertise of market professionals as soon as possible into the crucial phase of project development. PRIMEPACKAGING collaborates with experts from the industry and funding body professionals who are active on a regional, national and international levels.
The successful development of the individual projects is the main focus of the three centres. Interdisciplinary exchange in workshops and individual coaching sessions with the experts provide opportunities to work intensively on each project. The progamme combines workshop elements with lecture units and individual sessions. Training and consulting in script development, market research, financing, distribution/world sales and games/interactive media is provided by leading international experts from the film industry.
SESSIONS AND DATES
- First Centre: 8 - 12 July, 2009, in Berlin, Germany
- Second Centre: 14 - 18 October, 2009, in Vienna, Austria
- Third Centre: 11 - 13 Decmber, 2009, in Warsaw, Poland
PROJECTS AND PARTICIPANTS
Up to 15 projects with up to 30 participants. To be eligible, applicants need to have released at least two feature films in countries other then the country of production. Up to three teams of new talent will also be selected.
PARTICIPANTS FEE
Fee is usually ∈7,500. This year, there are two full scholarships on offer and the remaining participants will only be charged ∈1,800. The remaining ∈5,700 difference will be due after the project has received financing.
